Dippin’ Daisys is deeply committed to sustainability, ensuring that every aspect of our business is aligned with eco-friendly practices. We use recycled fabrics in the creation of our swimwear, reducing our environmental footprint and promoting a more sustainable fashion industry. We also prioritize ethical production methods, supporting fair labor practices throughout our supply chain, which ensures that both the planet and the people involved in the process benefit.

Our swimwear collections are crafted from high-quality, recycled materials, helping to reduce waste and the need for virgin resources. We carefully select fabrics that have been repurposed from both pre-consumer and post-consumer sources, offering a low-carbon and environmentally conscious alternative to traditional manufacturing. Our founder, Elaine, who is a chemist, played a pivotal role in developing the soft and luxurious fabrics that have become synonymous with Dippin’ Daisys, known as LUXE. These materials are not only environmentally friendly but are also incredibly soft and comfortable to wear.

In addition to recycled fabrics, we use other sustainable components in our designs. Our adjustable strap sliders are made from lead-free, non-toxic metal, and the foam used in our bra inserts is also recycled. The elastic in our swimwear is derived from organic and natural rubber trees, further reducing our reliance on synthetic materials. Every detail of our swimsuits is designed with sustainability in mind.

We pride ourselves on reducing waste throughout our production process. Unlike many companies that produce large quantities of products, much of which is ultimately discarded, we only manufacture what is necessary to meet demand. This ensures that we minimize overproduction and reduce the amount of fabric waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. Additionally, since we own our own factory, we have complete control over the manufacturing process. This allows us to recycle fabric waste into insulation materials, giving it a second life and preventing it from contributing to landfill waste.

We are also working towards the development of circular fashion. The traditional fashion industry operates on a model of mass production and consumption, which often leads to garments being made from non-recyclable materials. At Dippin’ Daisys, we are actively developing a system that allows us to recycle fabric waste into raw materials that can be turned into new swimwear products. We are currently working on a process that will enable us to recycle waste fabric into yarn, which can then be used to create new fabrics for future collections. This is a step toward creating a more sustainable, circular fashion system that minimizes waste and promotes the reuse of materials.
